Academic Scholarships
Malvern College offers four academic scholarships for entry at 16+:
The Clark Scholarship | awarded in recognition of the outstanding contribution of former Headmaster, Mr Antony Clark, and aims to offer a truly transformational experience to the award holder. The Clark Scholarship creates an opportunity for a pupil who is academically strong, intellectually curious and who will make the most of the many opportunities Malvern College has to offer.
The Alan Duff Scholarship | awarded to a pupil of exceptional all-round academic ability.
The Francis Aston Scholarship | awarded for exceptional ability in Science. Candidates must commit to studying at least two science subjects at A Level or at Higher Level IB, and will be expected to take a lead role in scientific debate and in super-curricular activities such as the Lucretian Academic Society.
The Malvernian Society Scholarship | awarded to external candidates entering the Sixth Form from the maintained sector.

Drama Scholars should display a strong interest in Drama and Theatre and be able to demonstrate a significant ability as a stage actor or musical theatre performer.

Malvern has a Musicians will be expected to play a full part in the musical life of the College and will automatically become part of the Gifted and Talented programme for musicians.

Faculty of Design & Technology and Visual Arts
Scholars must demonstrate their flair and passion for a range of techniques and skills within Art, Design and Technology or Photography. It is expected that Scholars play an active role in their department and will have the opportunity to present their work at department events.

Sport Scholarships
Candidates at 16+ will be playing sport to an outstanding level within their age group and expected to be fully committed to sport at the College.
16+ scholarships are available across the major sports Malvern offers:

In addition, the Bathurst Hockey Scholarship is awarded to a girl that has proven ability and potential in hockey.
Georgina Bathurst left Malvern College in 2015 and went on to represent England U21 at hockey. She is a talented and dedicated sportswoman who is ambitious and committed to pursuing her dream. The scholarship is awarded to a first-class hockey player who will enter the school at 16+.
