Tatler Schools Guide 2025

Occupying a 250-acre site on the edge of the Malvern Hills, the magnificent setting of this self-assured school is matched by the dynamism of its pupils.

A group of four people, three men and one woman, converse in a well-lit room with large windows. Two men sit on a windowsill, one in a floral tie and the other in a brightly colored striped tie, while the woman and another man stand. They share testimonials, all dressed in business attire.

Talk Education

A true English public school in a splendid setting, Malvern College was one of the earliest adopters of the IB and, with its proper global outlook, pupils flock here from around the world for a slice of this very British, very wholesome education.

A group of people walk and converse in front of a historic, gothic-style building with tall arched windows and intricate stonework. They share testimonials about the site's rich history as the sun shines brightly overhead, casting long shadows, while leafless trees and well-maintained lawns surround the structure.

The Good Schools Guide

Malvern’s motto is ‘Sapiens qui prospicit’ (Wise the one who looks ahead), it’s a fitting epithet for such a well run, dynamic and forward thinking school. Just the place for families in search of a top flight, all round education with plenty of fun and fresh air.

Muddy Stilettos

Malvern College is one of the UK’s most prestigious schools but there’s no hot-housing here, instead the emphasis is on a balanced education and a nurturing environment. Got an unquellable sense of adventure? You’ll be thoroughly in your element here (and out in them). And ohh, that movie set backdrop!

Although we are a long way from 1865, when the College was founded, some things will never change. Our commitment to developing outstanding young people with the skills, resilience and initiative to flourish in a rapidly changing global landscape remains – all these years later – at the very heart of our approach, and our beliefs.
