For this week's #MalvernMonday we're celebrating our annual Commemoration. It was a busy weekend with numerous events for the entire Malvernian community to take part in: 💚 10-Year Reunion for the Class of 2015 – we were delighted to host over 70 OMs on Friday for an evening in The Longy with drinks, pizza and dancing. 🎼Amazing musical performances at the Spring Concert. 🌟 Upper Sixth Welcome Dinner to officially welcome our soon to be OMs to the Malvernian Society – a chance for them to hear everything the Society offers them. 🤝 The AGM of Malvern College and the Malvernian Society 💒 Commemoration Chapel Service for the whole school and OMs followed by a delicious Commemoration Lunch! ⚽🏑🏐🎾An afternoon of OM vs pupil sports matches - football, hockey, netball, rifle, rackets and squash all took place. 🍽️ Commemoration culminated with the OM Club Dinner in St Edmund’s Hall – a true celebration of sport and the whole Malvernian community. Our guest speaker was Sam Glover (5.90-92) who gave an entertaining talk about his remarkable solo row across the Atlantic Ocean last year, emerging as the fastest solo competitor in The World’s Toughest Row with an extraordinary race time of just 42 days, 3 hours, and 15 minutes. A wonderful weekend of reconnection and reminiscing – amazing to see so many of you back here! A huge thank you to everyone who helps put on these events too! Full reports from the Malvernian Society later this week.
