Malvern College Earns Dual Finalist Status at Independent School of the Year Awards 2025

Malvern College is proud to have been shortlisted in two categories at the 2025 Independent School of the Year Awards: ‘Rising Star Award’ and ‘Independent School of the Year – Central Region’.

These nominations highlight both individual brilliance and the collective strength of the Malvern community. Chloe-Evelyn M, a Headmaster’s Scholar and founder of Write4ChangeUG, was recognised for her leadership and humanitarian efforts, earning a place among the finalists for the ‘Rising Star Award’.

Her journey reflects Malvern’s commitment to developing pupils who combine intellect with empathy, using their education to drive meaningful change.

The College’s nomination for the ‘Central Region’ award celebrates our strong connection to the Malvern Hills, which influence our culture of exploration, wellbeing and innovation. From outdoor learning to collaborative STEM projects with local partners like the Morgan Motor Company, Malvern’s regional identity continues to inspire creativity and resilience.

Headmaster Keith Metcalfe commented: “Being shortlisted in two categories is a wonderful affirmation of our values and vision. Chloe-Evelyn’s recognition highlights the power of student-led initiatives, while our regional nomination honours the distinctive character and ethos of our school.”

Malvern College congratulates all finalists and winners across the independent sector, celebrating the shared pursuit of excellence and innovation in education.
