Chloe-Evelyn M

Chloe is an international student poised to make a profound impact on the world. Having joined Malvern from a boarding school in Kenya (Pembroke House), her exceptional global perspective is unmistakable. At just 15, she founded Write4ChangeUG, a charitable programme that transforms access to literature and academic textbooks in her home country of Uganda. The initiative also serves as an online platform for sharing writing, poetry, and prose. Chloe, an accomplished author herself, won the Poetry Prize in her first year at Malvern for her original composition, Refuge is Man Made. This year, Write4ChangeUG was named House 3’s charity of the year, with her boarding house rallying to support Ugandan students’ education.

As the deserving recipient of the Headmaster’s Scholarship Award, Chloe exemplifies excellence, leadership, and determination across the school community and curriculum. With a keen interest in understanding the brain, she delivered an Aston Society presentation titled To what extent is pre-symptomatic gene testing ethical in testing for psychiatric illnesses? Chloe’s ambition to study Neurotechnology at a leading Ivy League university in the United States feels well within reach, as she continues to inspire and innovate on a global scale.
