Over Field Weekend, 220 CCF members spent a very challenging and successful two days training at Sennybridge in the Brecon Beacons.
Half of the party took part in an advanced tactical exercise involving patrolling, nighttime ambushes and Platoon attacks upon enemy positions. The juniors, meanwhile, were given a varied training program involving 14 different skills areas, from Basic Field Skills with a guest Special Forces instructor, Camouflage and stalking, from a specialist sniper unit and even a zombie attack escape and evasion under-the-cover of darkness.
It was the largest such event in recent history. Congratulations to all who took part and led/organised such a tremendous exercise.
