Choosing the right school for your son or daughter is one of the biggest decisions a parent makes. We are here to help.

We understand that, for a lot of parents, entry into a senior school can be a confusing process. Which is why we provide the space and time for you to ask questions, to meet key academic and House staff and for your child to experience taster days and visits. We clearly outline the key timescales within our admissions process, helping you make decisions at the right time, and we will work with you to make your transition into Malvern College as smooth as possible.

Next steps

We welcome approximately 200 new pupils to the Malvern College family each year. More than 75% of our pupils are full boarder, with the remaining day pupils integrating seamlessly into our Houses. Pupils will usually join us in Foundation Year (Year 9) or Lower Sixth (Year 12). A small number of places will be available each year for Remove (Year 10) and for Pre – 6 th Form at 15+.

With a high demand for places at Malvern College, many parents make their first enquiry for their child up to three years before entry. Applicants are welcome in Foundation Year (Year 9), Remove (Year 10) and Lower Sixth (Year 12), where space is available. Waiting lists often operate for most years of entry, so early registration is advised to avoid disappointment.
