Steve was educated at Hereford Cathedral School before going on to study Psychology and Zoology at the University of Reading. After graduating, his passion for exploration led him to spend several years travelling widely, including a memorable three-week trek through the Nepal Himalaya.
He later completed a PGCE at Bangor University and began his teaching career in secondary education, becoming Head of Science at The Commonweal School in Swindon during his fourth year of teaching.
Following the start of his family, Steve returned to Herefordshire and joined The Downs Malvern in 2008 as a Science teacher. He now serves as Deputy Head Academic.
