Sarah went to Cambridge University to read Economics at Lucy Cavendish College. After graduation, she took her PGCE in Glasgow.
Having been Head of Economics at Eltham College from 1994-1998, as well as being involved in adventurous school expeditions, Sarah became the Housemistress at Trinity School in Teignmouth, Devon, where she also became Head of Sixth Form. She arrived at Malvern College ten years later as Housemistress of the newly built Ellerslie House. She was appointed Deputy Head (Pastoral) in 2011 and Senior Deputy Head in 2017.
