Emma graduated from University College London with a BA in Modern European Studies and an MPhil in Philosophy. She began her teaching career at Westminster School in London by introducing three new A Level and AS subjects (Religious Studies, Philosophy and Critical Thinking). Emma was Housemistress at St Mary’s Calne for five years and in 2013 joined Malvern College as Housemistress of Ellerslie, moving from that role in 2020 to join the safeguarding team. She is now Designated Safeguarding Lead and Head of Philosophy and Religious Studies.
When not at work, Emma enjoys practising her German skills while exploring Berlin or foraging on the Malvern hills for ingredients for pestos, cordials and crumbles.
