It’s a sport you can play for life, whether socially or competitively, and it teaches so many valuable skills along the way. What I love most is seeing players develop – not just technically, but in confidence and enjoyment – and hopefully build a lifelong connection with the sport.”

Golf at Malvern College has grown significantly in recent years, with pupils benefiting from expert coaching, access to excellent local courses and a structured programme that supports both beginners and competitive players.

Mark Hardinges, Director of Sport at Malvern College, emphasised the importance of appointing experienced professionals to lead the College’s sporting provision: “At Malvern, we are committed to providing the very best opportunities for our pupils. That means bringing in professionals who have real-world experience and who are leaders in their field. Jack’s appointment reflects that approach. We want pupils to learn from the best, and the results speak for themselves in the quality of performance and the enthusiasm we see across our sports programme.”
