Malvern pupils celebrate GCSE results success

Pupils at a Worcestershire school are today celebrating success in their GCSE exams.

Keith Metcalfe, Headmaster at Malvern College, said: “Everyone at the school would like to congratulate our pupils on their exams results. Our students continue to achieve excellent results, but we believe in not just celebrating their academic achievements, but also recognising our part in their personal development as we prepare them for life beyond school.

“As well as being academic, we want our pupils to be role models in whatever walk of life they choose after they leave us. That rounded education which comes from active engagement in music, art, drama, sport, and much more besides.

Ben Evans received 11 Grade 9s and will be returning to Sixth Form to study A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. Livia Machancoses Da Gama Rose will study the International Baccalaureate having passed 11 GCSEs at Grade 9.

Pupils will return this September to a new Sixth Form Centre offering a transformational learning experience.

“As with our A Level students last week, it is so gratifying to see so many pupils doing well and pursuing their dreams. We wish our GCSE students every success as they move to the next stage in their lives.”
