The students enjoyed another fabulous afternoon of activity yesterday and, yet again, made the most of the return to school and the opportunities available here, even with COVID-19 restrictions.
The Royal Marine section took part in a campus-wide military Treasure Hunt involving navigation/bearing challenges; code-breaking challenges; physics tasks and observation skills. The RAF trained for their Drill Competition on St George’s Terrace.
Meanwhile, 30 members of the Remove were given an impressive introduction and training in Section Battle Drills on the 9-Acre. Senior cadets gave a slick demonstration of what is required, then instructed their individual House sections, be a final practice and then assessment. For many of the Remove this was their first chance to command and all involved rose to the challenge with great success.
Congratulations to House 3, whose clear communications, teamwork and effort were outstanding, and they received the award of Best Section.
