In celebration of the International Women and Girls in Science Day on earlier this term we tasked our Remove pupils to make a short presentation, poster or news report about a female scientist of their choice. They had a week to prepare their work and then they presented it to the rest of their class during one of their science lessons. The pupils engaged very well with this activity and enjoyed learning about the various scientists, some of whom had to fight against gender prejudice, others who had won Nobel Prizes for their work and those who are currently at the forefront of scientific research. Below are just a few of the many great presentations.
