Art at Malvern College – The Great Exhibition Walk

The Great Malvern Exhibition Walk space in the heart of Malvern town centre is a vibrant and welcoming place to share the creative work of our pupils. Our current display showcases work by GCSE, A Level and IB students studying Photography, Art and Design Technology, and offers many of them their first experience of exhibiting publicly. We are incredibly proud to be part of the Malvern community and grateful to Malvern Hills District Council for providing a platform that allows young voices, creativity and fresh perspectives to be seen and celebrated.

Darren Stokes, Director of Art and Design at Malvern College, added:

“It’s vital that the creative process doesn’t simply stop in the studio, once a photograph is developed or when the final stitch is sewn. An essential part of art and design is seeing an idea carried through to a finished piece and shared with a wider audience. This exhibition gives our young artists and designers the opportunity to experience the full creative journey – from initial concept to a framed, finished work displayed in a public space – which is incredibly valuable and empowering for them.”

The exhibition is open to the public, and visitors are warmly encouraged to view the work along Church Walk, Waitrose, Graham Road and Edith Walk in Malvern town centre (WR14 4WR).
