Malvern College consistently ranks as one of the most stunning schools in the UK and sits proudly in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Head of Grounds, Tom, takes immense pride in living up to this accolade and makes it his mission to make sure our pitches, courts, fields and gardens are always looking their best. From a young age, a passion for the landscape was always on Tom’s horizon. Spending summers on his grandparents farm in Herefordshire, he joined Malvern College aged 17 and almost two decades later and with qualifications in Horticulture and Sports Turf Management, Tom is one of our home-grown role models. As a school grounds that spreads over 200 acres, we host national sporting events and welcome premier league clubs to use our training facilities. Above all our grounds are a safe space for our pupils. We give them space to grow and an environment to thrive and that’s all thanks to Tom and his team.
