Susannah Ronan-Hill

Director of Estates

A person with blonde hair, wearing a light pink shirt and a lanyard, stands at a table with architectural blueprints and a blue hard hat. The wall behind features numerous framed black-and-white photos. Text on the image lists various roles, including Project Manager and Director of Estates.

Like all the best conductors keeping different sections of the orchestra together, musician Susannah knows all about coordinating different teams. As Director of Estates, she is across the upkeep and maintenance of the entire site, from original buildings constructed in 1865 to ensuring the turf and the cricket wicket is in pristine condition. Susannah has mastered multiple instruments and plays music that ranges from the classical to modern era. Perhaps this is why she has an affinity to the care of Malvern College – one minute she can be inspecting the architecture and historic artefacts in Chapel to then donning a hard hat and high-vis supervising the progress of the new Sixth Form building. With eleven boarding houses to maintain, beautiful listed buildings and over 200-acres of playing grounds and sport facilities, Susannah is our very own campus maestro.
