Liv H

Equestrian ◆ Eventing Athlete ◆ Netball Vice Captain ◆ Duke of Edinburgh's Award ◆ ROLE MODEL

It takes skill, determination, practice, and resilience to excel in one sport, but Upper Sixth pupil Liv takes on three. As a highly proficient Eventing athlete, she thrives in the demanding disciplines of Dressage, Show Jumping, and Cross Country, each requiring precision, courage, and endurance.

From the calm control and elegance of Dressage, to the focus and agility of Show Jumping, to the sheer stamina and bravery needed for Cross Country, Liv demonstrates a rare balance of technical mastery and emotional connection with her horse, Rosco. Their partnership is at the heart of every performance; both athlete and horse must be at peak fitness, perfectly tuned to one another, and fully focused.
Although still in its early years, the school’s Equestrian Team continues to go from strength to strength – a reflection of the riders’ dedication and teamwork. Recently, Liv achieved an impressive 6th place at the Schools Championships, with the Malvern team securing 2nd place overall. Their achievements also reflect the school’s strong support, including access to expert coaching from GB International Dressage rider Maddie Frewin, whose mentorship inspires all riders to aim higher.

Away from the stables, Liv’s drive and commitment extend across school life. She combines a mix of BTEC and A Level studies with her sporting pursuits, and is also an exceptionally talented netball player, representing the First Team for three years and serving as Vice-Captain.
