Joining the school as a full boarder, Isabel quickly found Malvern to be a home-away-from-home. Not only is the boarding house an environment in which she thrives, but so too is the classroom, the hockey pitch, the music room and the D&T studio. An accomplished French Horn player, Issy also takes part in Chamber Choir and the Brass Ensemble. The dedication she brings to her studies and her natural mentoring skills made Isabel an exemplary Senior Chapel Prefect. Somehow she also finds the time to head-up the Royal Marines section of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), demonstrating further leadership qualities. Pupils at Malvern are busy and there is an expectation for them to get involved with a broad range of learning and development. Isabel is testament to that choice of offer and how to maximise every opportunity.
