Annabelle is a shining example of a global citizen: resilient, ambitious, and deeply engaged in the life of Malvern College. Encouraged by her parents (her father having been a Malvernian himself), she joined the College in 2021, during lockdown, embracing boarding life and significantly developing her English through full immersion in school life. Since then, she has flourished across all areas of the College.
Now in the Sixth Form, Annabelle is studying A level French, Russian (in just one year), Psychology, and Business, with aspirations to study French and Arabic at university and pursue a career in International Relations and Diplomacy. Her academic drive is matched by her flair for performance: she holds a Drama Scholarship, has achieved Grade 8 LAMDA, and is a committed pianist. She’s also a keen sportswoman, taking part in hockey, netball, tennis, and completing the iconic Ledbury Run and Hunted challenge.
But it is her leadership and mentoring that truly set her apart. In Ellerslie, she serves as a compassionate and committed Peer Mentor, and in the CCF, she has earned the rare honour of being one of four regional cadets selected to serve the Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire. One of her first duties in this prestigious role was to represent the cadets at the 80th VE Day celebrations at Worcester Cathedral – a moment of reflection and service where she recognised the significance of honouring the past and giving back to the community.
Annabelle brings empathy, cultural awareness, and quiet strength to every role she takes on. She leads by example and is an inspiring role model for her peers across our diverse school community – a true Malvernian!
