The boys are encouraged to pursue their passions and interests and are actively supported by the highly capable and supportive House team to fulfil their potential.

A healthy balance between work and play ensures that the boys can be successful in their academic and co-curricular endeavours whilst also having a lot of fun along the way.

Housemaster, Oliver Butterworth teaches Economics and also coaches Cricket and Rugby. He is a keen sportsman having played cricket for Worcestershire County Cricket Club as a boy and is currently training for his first triathlon. In previous schools, Oliver has been a Housemaster and Head of Economics, led expeditions to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and trek to Machu Picchu and has also taught the double bass. He is married to Joanna, who loves life in the Boarding House, and they have two daughters called Darcy and Jemima and a Jack Russell Terrier named Willoughby.
