TO EXPLORE THE WORLD IS TO UNDERSTAND THE WORLD

At Malvern College, the co-curriculum is an important part of a holistic curriculum that provides a transformational learning environment for the whole pupil. The College has much to offer, and there are many opportunities to try new things. The principles underlying the co-curriculum are:

1. to encourage a balance between creativity, action and service

2. to encourage pupils to engage in new experiences and develop new skillsets

3. to promote health and well-being

4. to enable pupils to develop transferable skills and the Malvern Qualities

In each year of the Lower School, a pupil is expected to show commitment to co-curricular activities and to distributed evenly activities between creativity, action and service. In the Sixth Form, a pupil is expected to show a continued commitment to co-curricular activities and to distribute activities as evenly as appropriate between creativity, action and service. At the start of each term, pupils are given guidance on their sporting and service commitments and are allowed a choice from a wide range of further sports, and physical and creative activities.
