We teach A level Economics, Business and Politics, and International Baccalaureate Higher and Standard Level Economics and Business Management. We also offer AS and A Level Global Perspectives. Over 200 pupils study these subjects in the Sixth Form.

We offer specialist Standard Level teaching classes for both IB Economics and Business Management. A small but increasing number of students opt for the AS or A Level Global Perspectives course as part of the A Level Enrichment options offered to our Sixth Formers. Well over 200 pupils are currently studying these subjects in the Sixth Form.
A large number of pupils apply for Oxbridge, Russell Group Universities as well as leading universities across the Globe, including Harvard and Yale. As a department we consistently have a high proportion of the IB pupils opting to take their Extended Essay in Economics. Business Management, or are mentored by the departmental team in their World Studies Extended Essay.
Whilst the global economy goes through its many cycles, it is fair to say that the Malvern Economics, Politics and Business departments continue to chart a strong course of academic rigour, aiming to produce confident and able future economists, entrepreneurs and politicians.
