Cwm Llwch is an old farmhouse situated at approximately 1000 ft in the central Brecon Beacons. It has been renovated from a derelict structure to provide basic accommodation for parties of up to 20. It lies roughly four miles south-west of Brecon and it is just possible to reach the farmhouse by car. The last stretch of road is unmade and the track beyond the car parking area is quite rough and the National Park Committee is anxious to limit cars from proceeding beyond the parking area so visitors, in particular, are asked to use the top section of track as little as possible.
The farmhouse itself is situated in its own yard and is surrounded by woodlands and pasture.
Accommodation consists of:
- two large upstairs sleeping rooms for which there are ample mattresses for 20 people.
- a large, open plan room which incorporates kitchen and dining facilities and has a large, open fireplace.
- a hallway with a further fireplace with access to two WCs with wash-hand basins and stairs to the upstairs rooms.
